The conflict between the Drazi and the Centauri continues. John Sheridan (Bruce Boxleitner) tells Captain Lochley (Tracy Scoggins) that jump gates are now being attacked, and Babylon Five may be next. But the White Star ships should be able to defend them. Delenn (Mira Furlan) notices something bothering Sheridan. He has asked Earth President Luchenko to join with the Minbari in building destroyer-class White Stars. Delenn agrees to speak to the Minbari about it and leaves for hyperspace.

Vir (Stephen Furst) waits for Doctor Franklin (Richard Biggs) and Lyta Alexander (Patricia Tallman) in his new quarters. He asks them to journey to Drazi Space to have the Centauri dead returned, just to make sure they are not alive somewhere being tortured. On Centauri Prime, Londo (Peter Jurasik) is still imprisoned with G’Kar (Andreas Katsulas). They are rendered unconscious and Londo is dragged out.

Aliens are scanning Londo. He awakes to find himself back in the cell. G’Kar induces vomiting so Londo will be taken away from the stench. On Babylon Five, Lochley attends an Interstellar Alliance meeting with Garibaldi (Jerry Doyle) and various ambassadors. The ambassadors will not work with each other. Sheridan asks questions about the Centauri tactics, and they don’t seem to make sense. Sheridan does not want to attack Centauri Prime because it is a civilian target.

There is a Centauri cruiser in space on its way with no life signs aboard—a bomb. They destroy it before it can destroy the jump gate. Franklin and Alexander arrive on Zhabar and find themselves followed. On Centauri Prime, Londo is trying to convince the ministers that the Regent is not to be trusted. The Drazi and the Narn are about to attack Centauri Prime, and Sheridan is asked to stop them. Franklin and Lyta are told by the Drazi that there are no Centauri bodies. They are attacked and Franklin shoots one attacker, but Lyta deals with the other in the telepath way, shocking Franklin.

Delenn’s White Star is attacked by four Centauri ships. Franklin and Lyta find black pods. Lyta knows what the pods are. They inform Sheridan that they have found Shadow devices and conclude that the Centauri government is run by aliens. They need to stop the Drazi and Narn from attacking Centauri Prime. Lennier and Delenn are stranded in hyperspace. The Narn/Drazi fleet approaches Centauri. The Regent says he will die soon. He has sent away the Centauri ships and turned off the planetary defense network. The attack begins.

Londo, after G’Kar vomits, screams, “My eyes are burning.” This is a phrase, believe it or not, from George Carlin’s Seven Dirty Words sketch. The episode is fast-paced and full of action. It is creepy to hear the scream of the Shadows again. Lyta is becoming the badass I always knew she could be.
